    Model 80. Vidikron’s incorporation of three D-ILA chips result in exceptionally low noise without the fl icker and “rainbow eff ect” that often plague one-chip digital video display devices. Vidikron engineers have also paid careful attention to accu- rate gray scale tracking and true 6500K color reproduction capability.

    About Burning-in of D-ILA Device • Do not allow the same still picture to be projected for a long time or an abnormally bright video image to be projected. Do not project video images with a high intensity or high contrast on a screen.

    Resetting Lamp Time After your Vidikron dealer installs a new lamp, he will reset the lamp time. The lamp time counter will be reset and a new count will start. If display of the accumulated lamp time has reached 2000 hours, this unit will not work (lamp does not light up) unless the lamp time is reset.

    Cleaning and Replacing the Filter Have your Vidikron dealer clean the fi lter regularly or air intake effi ciency may deteriorate and malfunction may occur. If the fi lter is ex- tremely dirty and cannot be cleaned, or if it is damaged, replace the fi lter with a new one. Otherwise, dirt may enter the unit and appear on the screen, preventing you from enjoying the video fully.

    Warning Indication About warning indicators If an abnormality occurs in this unit during projection, the warning mode will be triggered and the type of abnormality will be indicated by a combination of indicators displayed on the control panel.
