6. Select the Discover Normally option and then click Discover to detect the connected storage
controllers.
Note: Ensure that storage controllers are powered off and all power supplies are off. After you click
Discover, System Setup searches for storage controllers on the local network. You can power
on the storage controllers within 3 minutes of their discovery.
Note: If the controllers cannot be discovered, ensure that firewall and anti-virus software on your
Windows client are disabled.
7. Click Next to configure network settings.
System Setup also serves as a DHCP server initially and DHCP IP addresses are served to the
controllers.
