The following chapter contains information about the circuit breaker itself and on installation /
mounting of the circuit breaker within the overall system.
It is aimed both at planning engineers and at control cabinet or switchboard manufacturers.
4.1

Types of installation and installation locations

The circuit breaker is designed to be operated in enclosed rooms in which the operating
conditions are not affected by dust or corrosive vapors/gases. Suitable enclosures must be
used in dusty or damp conditions.
Mounting position
The fixed version of the circuit breaker can be used in the following orientations:
● Vertical upright
● Horizontal right
● Horizontal left
● Any orientations between vertical upright and horizontal right/left (0° to 90°).
Operation in other orientations is not possible.
