Instructions for use
Before use:
Š Make sure that all products' packaging has been
removed.
Š Before using the product for the first time, clean the
parts that will come into contact with food in the manner
described in the cleaning section.
Š Some parts of the appliance have been lightly greased.
Consequently, the first time the appliance is used a light
smoke may be detected. After a short time, this smoke
will disappear.
Š Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish
to use:

Š Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
Š Take the length of cable required out of the housing.
Š Adjust the filter in the upper body.
Š Make sure the filter (3) is well placed, turning and
pressing down.
Š Place the protective lid (2) in the correct position.
Š Connect the appliance to the mains.
Š Place the glass at the appliance's juice exit.
Š Place the deposits of juice and pulp (8) in the position.
Š Turn the appliance on by using one of control knob
speed: I (low speed) or II (normal speed).
Š Select the desired speed.
Š Choose desired speed: I (low speed) or II (normal
speed).
Š Speed I is especially suitable for soft fruits and
vegetables such as watermelons, grapes, tomatoes,
cucumbers...
Š Speed II is suitable for all other kinds of fruits and vege-
tables such as apples, carrots...
Š Work with the food you want to process.
Š Insert the properly-cut fruit or vegetables into the corre-
sponding opening in the protective lid.
Š Gently press with the pusher.
Š The juice and the residual pulp will automatically sepa-
rate out: the juice directly to the cup and the residues to
the filter holder.
Š The juice and the residual pulp will automatically sep-
arate out: the juice into the glass and the residual pulp
into the pulp collector (8).
Š Do not exert too much pressure on the pusher as it could
affect the quality of the end result. It could even cause
the filter come to a halt.
Š Do not run the motor for more than 1 minute at a time.
Stop the motor and allow it to cool for at least 1 minute.

Otherwise the motor may become damaged.
Š Do not use the appliance for more than 30 minutes
at any one time. Otherwise the motor may become
damaged.
Š Once finished, leave the motor to run a few seconds so
that the juice can be strained.
Š Before opening the blender, ensure that the motor has
stopped completely.
Š Remove the deposits of juice (9) and pulp (8), the pusher
(1) and the protective lid.
Š First pull the filter (3) and then the upper body (2).
Š To avoid a fierce start up of the fan, it is advisable to start
off from the lowest speed position and, once the fan has
been switched on, progressively increase the speed to
the desired position.
Š To avoid a fierce start up, the appliance is turned on
progressively.
Š Empty the jug of juice (9), tipping its contents into what-
ever table service receptacle you like.
Š Remark: If you process a large quantity of fruit, you must
periodically clean the filter and remove the remains of
the pulp.
Once you have finished using the appli-
ance:
Š Stop the appliance, selecting position 0 on the selector
control.
Š Unplug the appliance from the mains.
Š Put the cable back in the cable housing.
Š Clean the appliance.

Š This appliance has a cable compartment situated on its
posterior.

Safety thermal protector:
Š The appliance has a safety device, which protects the
appliance from overheating.
Š If the appliance turns itself off and does not switch itself
on again, disconnect it from the mains supply, and wait
for approximately 15 minutes before reconnecting. If the
machine does not start again seek authorised technical
assistance.
