  • Page 5 5-4 Workplace Requirements The machine’s workplace requires 1400(width)×1685(depth) with at least 500 mm of clear space from each wall. Place the tire changer on a firm, smooth and unbroken floor. Drill four holes in the floor corresponding to the holes pre-drilled in the base of the machine. Holes should be 80mm deep. Its diameter is 10mm.
  • Page 6 (6) Operating Instructions This unit must be properly operated and properly main- tained to help avoid accidents that could damage the unit and injure the operator or bystanders. This section of the Operat- ing Instructions manual review basic operations and use of Tires are always installed and removed from the rim’s controls.

Bead Sealing Bead sealing is the process of capturing air pressure between the tire and the rim. The tire will usually contain about 1/2 to 2 PSI at initial bead seal.

    DAS ARM INSTRUCTION MANUAL 1. GENERAL The DAS has been designed as a tire changer accessory to help the operator to mount the tire on the rim or to demount it. The use of this device is limited to that specified in this manual. Any other use is improper and therefore not authorized. Be- fore beginning any kind of work on or with this machine, carefully read and understand the contents of these operating in- structions.

  • Page 16 OPERATIONS The DAS ARM has been designed to facilitate the operations of wheel locking and mounting/demounting the tire on or from the rim. 9.1 CLAMPING THE TIRE Correctly follow this manual, release the beads both side of the tire. It’s more forceful to use the DAS ARM.
