6. Applications
Electric stirrers from Grundfos, mounted in a suitable
tank are intended for the mixing and dissolving of
liquid, non-abrasive, non-inflammable and non-
explosive media, as described in these instructions.
No other applications are approved or
Caution
permitted. Grundfos is not liable for
damage resulting from incorrect use.

The operating safety of the product supplied is only
ensured, if used as described in section

7. Product overview
7.1 General description
The electric stirrers ensure that the liquid in the
dosing tank is mixed constantly. The stirrers run at
1500 rpm with a net frequency of 50 Hz, and are
suitable for liquids with low to medium viscosity.
The following versions are available:
•
6 shaft lengths suitable for cylindrical Grundfos
PE tanks with volumes between 60 l and 1000 l
•
3 propeller sizes
•
Single-phase or 3-phase motors in 3 power sizes
•
Stainless-steel shaft with PP propeller as a
standard
•
PP-coated stainless-steel shaft with PP propeller
•
PP-coated stainless-steel shaft with PP sealing
flange and PP propeller
