  • Page 7 ASSEMBLY AND SET-UP Attaching the Seat WARNING: Failure to properly secure the quick-release lever may cause the seat to telescope down while riding and may cause you to lose control and fall. Open the quick-release lever. Insert the seat post. Adjust the seat to the desired height and close the quick-release lever to lock into place.

    CHARGING THE BATTERY Your UB1 may not have a fully charged battery; therefore you must charge the battery prior to use. Be sure to charge WARNING: Use ONLY with the battery in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight, flames or sparks.

    USAGE How to Ride Do not activate the thumb throttle unless you are on the UB1 and in a safe, outdoor environment suitable for riding. Put kickstand up. Press the power button (A), the LEDs will light up. Get on the scooter and place both hands on the handlebars then press down on the thumb throttle (B).
  • Page 11 USAGE Battery Power Level Indicator 3 Blue + 1 Yellow + 1 Red Indicator Lights - Battery is sufficiently charged. Yellow + Red Indicator Lights - Charge product as soon as possible. If you continue to ride the product, the yellow light will turn off indicating low power.
