OPERATING YOUR SCOOTER
WARNING! The following can adversely affect steering and stability while operating your Scooter:
Holding onto or attaching a leash to walk your pet.
Carrying passengers (including pets).
Hanging any article from the tiller.
Towing or being pushed by another motorized vehicle.
WARNING! Keep both hands on the tiller and your feet on the foot pegs at all times while
operating your Scooter. This driving position gives you the most control over your vehicle.
„ Push power button on. See figure 12.
„ Pull the appropriate side of the handle bar grips. Right if you want to go right, left if you want to go left.
„ Always start in the lowest speed setting. Push decrease speed button on the tiller console. See figure 11.
„ Rotate the twist throttle toward you to move forward.
„ To go straight, move to the center position.
„ To stop, release the twist throttle and engage the handbrake.
GETTING OFF OF YOUR SCOOTER
1. Bring your Scooter to a complete stop.
WARNING! Never attempt to get onto or off of your scooter with it still on. This will prevent the
Scooter from moving if accidental twist throttle contact is made.
2. Press the "OFF" button on the battery pack.
3. Set the parking brake by engaging the handbrake lever and engage the locking pin.
4. Carefully and safely get out of the seat and stand to the side of your Scooter.
