Explosion hazard!
The charger output must match the battery voltage and capacity (Ah).
Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged.
Mismatches may be hazardous.
A battery may produce excessive amounts of gas (hydrogen formation); boiling and even an explosion may occur
A specific battery plug must be used to connect the battery. Its size must match the nominal charging current of the charger. We recommend using
a coded charger plug. Connecting a battery to other nominal voltages is thus impossible. Only use plugs that correspond to the respectively valid
standards!
Connect the charger plug with the correct polarity to the load line.
The charger plug may only be connected and changed by a qualified electrician.
If the polarity is incorrect, the charger's built-in output fuse will blow!

Setting into operation

Read the Operating Instructions fully and then carry out the active functional test installed in the charger, see below:
Plug into mains power socket.
Connect the charger plug to the battery connector.
Then press the STOP button twice within 8 seconds.
The charger will test its functionality by automatically cycling the power switches.
If the function test was passed, LED (3) will flash and battery charging will begin.
If the function test was not passed, LED (5) will flash and battery charging will not begin.
