MOUNTING THE 3.5mm EXTENSION (Fig. 3, page 2)
PERMANENT MOUNT:
1. Find a location on your dash to place the 3.5mm extension mount. Be sure to test length of
the cable before proceeding to the next step.
2. Using the back mounting plate as your drill guide, pre-drill (2) holes using a 1/16 size drill bit.
3. With both holes drilled and cleaned out, attach the back mounting plate to the pre-drilled
holes using the included (2) Phillips head screws.
4. Slide the 3.5 base on to the back mounting plate.
5. Route the cable to the factory 3.5 auxiliary input and connect.
NON-PERMANENT MOUNT:
1. Find a location on your dash to place the 3.5mm extension mount. Be sure to test length of
the cable before proceeding to the next step.
2. Make sure the back mounting plate is mounted on the 3.5 extension mount.
3. Using the double sided 3M tape included, expose one side of the tape and attach it to the
back mounting plate.
4. With the 3M tape applied to the back of the mounting plate, expose the remaining side of
the 3M tape and mount the 3.5 base on to the location you have chosen.
5. Route the cable to the factory 3.5 auxiliary input and connect.
