Setting the Base Ringer Volume
You will hear three ringer options. One allows you to turn the ringer off. The other two are volume
levels. You can change the ringer volume while in standby mode or the incoming call is ringing.
Temporarily Mute the Base Ringer and Call Screen
Press the
(play/stop) key to temporarily mute the incoming ring and call screen. The
ringer will sound with the next incoming call. To turn the ringer back on for this call, press
the ringer key. To hear the answering machine and screen this call, press the
or
/volume/select key.
Adjusting the Speaker Volume Level
You can adjust the volume of the base speaker by pressing the
on the base. Press the
softer while the base speaker is being used except for menu mode. The numbers [ ] -[ ]
are displayed on the base indicating the volume levels. [ ] being the softest and [ ] being
the loudest.
1) Press the ringer key.
