    About This Guide About This Guide This guide explains how to use the basic features of your new Mitel MiVoice 6910 IP phone. Not all features listed are available by default. Your system administrator has the ability to customize many features on this phone.

    With the appropriate permissions (set by your system administrator or authorized contact), you can log in to any Mitel 6900-Series IP phone in the system and assign your extension or phone number to that phone.

    Paging activates your profile on any phone that supports Hot Desking. When you log in as a hot desk user, Call History data is updated for you. You do not see any call logs for the phones registered DNs; you see only your history data. When you log out, the history for registered DNs are displayed.

When voicemail functionality is enabled, the MWI (Message Waiting Lamp) on the phone flashes red indicating that there are unattended voice messages in your voice mailbox.
