2. Installation and Operation

2.1. Dimensions, Mounting and Location

AS07-0183 is designed to be securely positioned in an outdoor environment.
The AS07-0183 should be mounted to a strong and sturdy location.
The AS07-0183 has a standard G 3/4 screw thread.
The AS07-0183 can be installed using the corresponding antenna base
(included) or a G 3/4
Base of your choice.

2.2. Operation

The AS07-0183 is designed to be used out of the box, for instant positional data to other NMEA 0183
device. The default baud rate has been set as 4800bps, at 1Hz updating frequency.

3. Connections

The AS07-0183 sensor has the following five wires shield wire.
12V
GND
GND(shield), always connected with GND only if the receive device has shield too.
NMEA OUT (RS232 TX)
NMEA IN (RS232 RX)
