Problem
• While the steam is being produced,
its color gets lighter and it is hard to
see.
• There are hot water droplets flying
out with the steam.
There is a gurgling sound while the
steam is being is produced.
There is a hissing sound while the
steam is being is produced.
During steam generation, a "pssst"
sound can be heard from the cool mist
outlet.
Mist is cut off.
Mist does not come out.
Operating noise is loud during mist
generation.
The way the mist is emitted fluctuates.
The CHECK lamp glows.
The CHECK lamp blinks.

Possible cause
You are using something else mixed in with
the water.
This is the sound of the water boiling inside
the steamer. It is not a problem.
The sound is due to electrical discharge and
is not a problem.
The sound is due to the air inside the main
unit being exhausted. This is not a problem.

Low water level in the water supply tank.
Scale deposits etc. are attached to the cool
mist outlet.
A mist generation sound ("shoo") and noise
from the operating pump in the main unit will
be heard but this is not a problem.
The way the mist is emitted is not constant
and may fluctuate somewhat, but this is not a
problem.

Action
Let the steamer cool down for at least
10 minutes, then clean the inside of
the steamer. (See page 16.)
