Read SMS
You can read new received messages according to the following
procedures:
If a certain numbers of X new messages are received, the screen
will be show an message icon
"X Message(s) Received"
Select the message to be "Read" or "Dismiss"
Press "Read" soft key to read the message or press "Dismiss"
to read it later
The received messages will appear in a list of chronological order
After reading a new or old message, you can choose to:
i. "Delete" the message permanently, or
ii. "Reply" a message to the sender, or
iii. "Forward" the message to other mobiles or data terminals, or
iv. "Save To Drafts", save the message as "Drafts" for future
use, or
v. "Call Sender", make a voice call to the message sender
directly, or
vi. "Save Number", save the sender number in the phonebook
An old message can be read by press the [MENU] in idle screen
and scroll to "Messages > Inbox > SMS List". After the
reading the old message, you can perform the same functions
as mentioned above.
Note: For a common SIM card, it can store up to 30 or 40 messages.
Once the storing space is used up, or, if one or more messages have
just arrived and filled up the "Inbox" the message full icon
displayed. After that, you will not be able to receive any more SMS
until you have deleted one or more of the old messages to free the
SIM card memory.
Drafts
Draft occupy SIM card memory. You can create a message and
save it as draft for later use. Draft messages are located at
"Messages > Drafts > Draft message(s)". You can choose to
delete the draft message, send it to another mobile or edit before
it is saved or sent.
Message Setup
The following items have to be set before using the functions of
voice mail and SMS.
Message Centre - You must enter the message centre number
before you can send SMS. This number is provided by your
service provider.

Validity Period - If you are not available (e.g. phone is power
off, out of radio coverage or SIM card memory is full), new
received SMS will store in the message center until timeout of
the validity period. There are different options of validity period
for your selection : 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, 3 days,
1 week or maximum time. If timeout happens, the message
center will clear your messages.
Delivery Note - If this function is set to "On" you will receive
delivery note of the SMS, that you have sent before. Delivery
note messages occupy SIM card memory. Reading of them
follows the same procedures as reading SMS.

4.1.2 Voice Mail

This feature allows you to enter your mail box number. If this
number bas been input and saved already, you will be able to
call your voice mailbox simply by long-press the [1] key.

4.2 Call Divert

This feature allows you to forward a call to a preset number in the
following conditions:
Forward all calls unconditionally
Forward a call if no reply
Forward a call if busy
Forward a call if not reachable
In each of the above condition, you can activate ("On") or deactivate
("Off") independently or check the current status by the "Status"option.
You can cancel all of the set conditions by the "Cancel All" function,
instead of cancel each condition one by one.

4.3 Call History

You can review the dialled, answered and missed calls on this menu.
Under each category, up to 10 different callers will be listed. When you
have answered/ dialed/ missed a call, if the number of the call is already
on the list, its time of call and details will be go under that existing entry,
you can review the details and time of the call by accessing the "Select"
soft key. You can also store the caller or calling number, delete the
number or clear the list.
Note: You can also access the missed call list by pressing the [UP] key when
the phone is in idle mode. This will be listed all together in the same fashion
as in menu "Call History > Missed Calls".
