New installation

1. Position the wall-mounting box, refer to dimensional drawing
on fold-out page I as well as Fig. [1] on fold-out page II.
2. Detach structural shell protection (B), see Fig. [2].
3. Break out openings for pipes, wire to transformer and fixing
holes in wall-mounting box (A).
4. Align wall-mounting box (A) horizontally, vertically and
parallel to the wall. Attachment in situ is performed with
screws and wall plugs, see Fig. [3].
5. Fasten water group (H) to wall-mounting box (A) with
screws (R), see Fig. [4].
6. Insert pipes (F, G) in wall-mounting box (A) and fit water
group (H) in pipe, see Fig. [5].
Do not solder the connections between the pipes and housing,
otherwise the built-in isolating valve may be damaged.
Open hot and cold water supply and check connections for
watertightness.
Flush pipes thoroughly before and after installation
(observe EN 806)!
Close isolating valve (H1), see Fig. [6].
Water installations must be completed before the
structural shell protection is fitted!
Electrical installation
Electrical installation must be completed before
the structural shell protection is fitted.
The electrical installation (230 V connecting wire
in the junction box) must also be completed
before the structural shell protection is fitted
where a mechanical fitting is being initially
installed with the intention of subsequently
retrofitting a mains-operated fitting!
Connect transformer base!
Electrical installation work must only be
performed by a qualified electrician. This work
must be carried out in accordance with the
regulations according to IEC 364-7-701-1984
(corresponding to VDE 0100 Part 701) as well as
all national and local regulations.
• Only round cables with max. outside diameter 6 to 8.5mm
may be used.
• The voltage supply must be separately switchable,
see Fig. [7].
1. Insert 230 V connecting wire (L) into the transformer base,
see Fig. [8]. Strip insulation in accordance with Fig. [8] and
230 V AC
mount lustre terminal (M), note assignment.
2. Route strand (L1) in an arc and position lustre terminal (M)
on locators in base (I), see Fig. [9].
1.8 VA
3. Secure cable (L) using screws (O) and strain relief (N).
0.5 bar
4. Fasten cover (P) in base (I) using screw (Q).
max. 10 bar
5. Fit structural shell protection (B), see Fig. [10].
1 - 5 bar
