The Personal Evaporative can operate with or without water. However, it will only cool the air if there is water in the tank. SLEEP MODE Long press the POWER and “+” buttons simultaneously to enter Sleep Mode. In Sleep Mode, the wind speed gradually decreases until it turns off.
