Installation Instructions for 555-1214, 555-1214-F, 555-1226, 555-1226-F
1. Remove the outer ring from the speaker grill by pulling straight away from the door. The outer ring is
different on each door, so be carefull not to mix up the left and the right ring. After removing the cover take
notice of the alignmet stud on the top of the ring. Use this as an indicator to find the proper orientation when
installing the billet speaker grill cover. Figure 1,2
2. Place the new billet cover over one of the rings removed. Using the stud on the back of the ring, find the
proper orientation and center each of the holes on eack of the raised surfaces. Using a center punch,
carefully mark the first hole for drilling. Be sure not to move the billet cover while marking, movement will
cause the subsequent holes to be incorrect. Figure 3
3. Using the drill bit provided, drill the first hole. Figure 4
