5. Verify that the system is in "Upgrade Mode" by viewing the
"System Operating Mode" status LED's in the Diagnostics/IO
screen (Left column; 1/2 the way down). Both status LED's
should be illuminated.
Note:The upgrade mode is automatically detected by the system
via the connection of cable P/N 45219 between J33 of the LCM
card and J11 of the Clutch Brake Driver Card. This mode allows
the system to utilize the Starwheel encoder signals at LCM
connector J39 enabling proper function of "pin" mode.
6. Run static checks on the machine as would be performed
when commissioning an OV-II.
Note: If the Reject verifier Option is installed, the "Mode"
potentiometer on the sensor must be set fully clockwise to the
"L" setting for proper functioning
Replace the upper cabinet panels. Be sure to install the
windowed panel on the power panel side and the solid panel on
the Card Cage side.
Note: Take extra care with the panels for series 1000/2000
machines, as there is no lanyard or piston to hold them in place
when they are "opened". This warning must be communicated to
the customer.
Replace lower cabinet doors
Replace all Lexan Safety doors
