6. Install the thermal sensor.
7. Connect the thermal sensor cable to the system board.
8. Reinstall all removed parts. Then, reconnect all disconnected cables to the computer and reconnect the
power cord to the electrical outlet.

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Chapter 1 "Important safety information" on page 1 and print the following
instructions.
Replacement procedure
1. Remove the computer cover. See "Computer cover" on page 61.
2. Remove the front bezel. See "Front bezel" on page 62.
3. Remove the drive bay assembly. See "Drive bay assembly" on page 65.
4. Disconnect the power button cable and the card reader cable from the system board.
