Push remote button and
nothing happens.
Push remote button and
lift bounces while raising lift.
Remote will not work from a distance. Battery low. Charge battery with battery charger.
When raising boat, hydraulic
system squeals and will not raise
completely.
Lift drops too quickly when lowering
boat into water.
Hydraulic fluid tank seems low.
Solar panel not charging battery.
Hose couplers will not lock together.
Remedy
Check system shut-off switch. If switch is turned off,
the system will not operate.
Battery low. Charge battery with battery charger.
Check battery cable connections.
Check fuse inside hydraulic box.
Use toggle switch inside box to raise lift.
If toggle switch works properly, but remote causes
the lift to bounce, the battery is low. Charge battery.
Signal between remote and antenna may be weak.
Antenna wire attached to the receiver in black box may
be moved to create a stronger signal.
Pressure on pump set too low. Adjust the pressure
control valve on the pump. (C1)
Lift should lower at a safe rate into water. If lift lowers
fast, flow control valve is missing from pump.
Call dealer for flow control valve installation.
When boat lift is completely lowered, there should be
1" to 1-1/2" of fluid in the tank. If there is less,
additional fluid can be added to reach the reccomended
level in the tank.
Solar panel must be facing to direct south at 45 degree
angle or adjusted to receive direct sunlight.
Check to see if couplers are free of debris. Wipe off
both couplers completely and try again.
If you have disconnected hoses from pump before
lowering completely, it will be difficult to reconnect hoses
without removing the pressure in the line.
Remove pressure by running lift up slightly or
pressing end of hose to allow fluid to flow out.
Always wear eye protection andheavy gloves to protect
yourself from high pressure fluid spray whenever
connecting or disconnecting hose couplers.
