  • Page 3 MONTAGEANLEITUNG: Demontieren Sie die folgenden Teile in dieser Reihenfolge: Windschild und Frontscheinwerfer Zündschloss und Abdeckung Blinker Abdeckung der unteren Gabelbrücke alle Steckverbindung zur und in der Verkleidung Radio Innere Verkleidung Lenker und Riser Frontend mit Rad, Schutzblech und Gabel Gabelbrücken. Schlagen Sie die originalen Lagerschalen aus.
  • Page 4 Ziehen Sie die untere Lagersitzhülse unter Zuhilfenahme des Lenkkopf Oberteils, jedoch ohne die Zwischenhülse, ein.
  • Page 6 Schlagen Sie das Lenkkopf Oberteil wieder heraus. Bohren Sie die vorhandenen Rahmen-Löcher auf 10,5mm auf und schneiden Sie M12-Gewinde hinein.
  • Page 8 Montieren Sie das Lenkkopf Unterteil lose mit den Sechskantschrauben M12x20mm vor. Setzen Sie die Lagerdistanzhülse in den originalen Lenkkopf ein und schrauben Sie das Lenkkopf Oberteil und Unterteil mit der Schaftschraube M16x233mm zusammen. Achten Sie darauf die 16x40mm-Scheibe unter den Kopf der Schaftschraube unterzulegen und ein hochfestes Schraubensicherungsmittel zu verwenden.
  • Page 9 Ziehen Sie die Schaftschraube mit 200Nm fest.
  • Page 10 Setzen Sie die zwei seitlichen M12-Schrauben mit hochfestem Schraubensicherungsmittel ein und ziehen Sie diese mit 80Nm fest.
  • Page 11 Bauen Sie die untere Gabelbrücke ein und stellen Sie das Lenkkopflagerspiel ein.
  • Page 12 Ersetzen Sie die originalen Gabelstandrohre durch die neuen Teile. Beim Zusammenbau die Gabel ohne Feder zusammenschieben und mit #99884-80 Fork Oil Type „E“ auffüllen bis 125mm Luftpolster über dem Gabelöl bleibt. ¼ Die Gabelcover mit den vier Inbusschrauben UNF x 2 anschrauben und die Standrohre vormontieren.
  • Page 13 Montieren Sie die Gabelstopfen an die Standrohre.
  • Page 14 Markieren Sie mit der Schablone den Punkt auf der rechten Rahmenoberseite.
  • Page 15 Bohren Sie an der markierten Stelle ein 6,5mm-Loch und schneiden Sie ein M8-Gewinde hinein.
  • Page 16 Schrauben sie die Lenkschlossarretierung mit hochfester Schraubensicherung an und ziehen Sie sie mit 30Nm fest.
  • Page 18 Montieren Sie die obere Gabelbrücke.
  • Page 19 Schieben Sie die Standrohre durch die obere Gabelbrücke und schrauben Sie sie fest.
  • Page 21 Dunlop 180/55B18 M/C 80H - D407. Leider kommt es bei fast allen Vee-Rubber Vorderrad-Reifen zu Undichtigkeiten! Wir empfehlen daher grundsätzlich die Montage von Vee-Rubber Vorderrad-Reifen nur mit Schläuchen! Bei Beachtung dieser Hinweise wird das Bike perfekt fahren.     INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Remove the following parts in this order: Fairing and head light Ignition switch and cover Turn signals Lower triple tree cover All electrical connections around the fairing Radio Inner fairing Handlebar and risers Frontend with wheel, fender and fork Triple trees.
  • Page 26 Use the upper part of the steering head (A) to pull in the lower bearing seat bushing (J) into the frame. Don’t place the bearing spacer (H) yet!
  • Page 28 Push out the upper part of the steering head (A) again.
  • Page 29 Drill the existent frame holes up to 10,5mm and threat M12 treats in it.
  • Page 30 Mount the lower part of the steering head (B) loosely with hex bolts M12x20mm (F). Place the bearing spacer (H) in the frame and screw the upper and lower part of the steering head (A; B) with the bolt M16x233mm (C) together. Caution: Place the washer 16x40mm (D) to the head of bolt (C) and use Loctite high-strength therefor!
  • Page 31 Tighten the bolt (C) by 200Nm.
  • Page 32 Insert the two hex bolts M12x20mm (F) and tighten them by 80Nm, use Loctite high-strength again.
  • Page 33 Mount the lower triple tree and set the right bearing clearance.
  • Page 34 Replace the OEM tubes by the new ones (S). While assembling the fork, push it together without springs and fill both sides with #99884-80 fork oil type “E“ until the hollow above is 125mm (5 inches) deep. ¼ Fix the fork covers with four allen bolts UNF x 2 (W) push the tubes through it.
  • Page 35 Screw the tube plugs (R) into the tubes.

  • Page 37 Drill a hole of 6,5mm on the marked point and threat a M8 treats in it.
  • Page 38 Mount the steering lock bolt (Y) with the counter sunk bolt M8x12mm (Z), tighten it by 30Nm, use Loctite high-strength again.
