Using the post bracket as a template, mark the two mounting holes on the cab post. A third hole can be drilled through the bracket and post for additional support.

On a chute extension center the sensor bracket on the chute. See Figure 13. 3. On a main chute of a 1822/1844 measure down 18 inches from the top on the front and back of chute.

Use the sensor bracket as a template to mark the opening and holes. See Figure IMPORTANT: Ensure this is done first to the front side of the chute since you will mount the emitter to the front side first.

Remove the mounting plate and template from the chute. 14. Center-punch and drill the holes. 15. Use a suitable cutting device and cut the center rectangular hole.

IMPORTANT: Before proceeding with this procedure, ensure there is no obstruction that would have to be mounted around in front or behind the chute.

(See Figure 21.) 20. Before reinstalling the chutes, double check your installation to ensure there is nothing that cotton will catch on.

Ensure to get the correct end of the cable. It has an extended cable with the AMP CP14 pin, which will run to the main distribution cable on the backside of the cab.

Tie up extra cable away from moving parts. 8. You will have to use the 18-inch header extension cable to reach the distribution cable properly.

Do a walk around of the machine and Final Inspection complete the following: • All cable connections have been made. • Excess cable has been tied out of the way, so there is no potential interference.
