Herrmann HL 60 yellow flame burner
Efficient, clean and quiet
Rising energy prices act as an incentive to save energy. At the
same time there is a growing willingness of the consumer to make
a personal contribution to environmental protection. This change of
awareness is also reflected in our products. Therefore, our state-of-
the-art burner systems enable extremely low-pollution combustion
with the smallest air surplus. Not only the quality of the air but also
the efficiency of the heating installation and its cost-effectiveness
will benefit from this.
Proof of our efforts with regard to energy efficiency and the minimi-
sation of pollutants is the excellent performance of our HL60 E/F
yellow flame burner in the type test according to EN 267:1999-11
class 3, the "Blue Angel" ecolabel according to RAL-UZ9 as well as
the Schweizer Luftreinhalteverordnung LRV (Swiss Ordinance on
Air Pollution Control).
The extremely compression-rigid blower, which was specially
designed for the combustion of fuel oil ensures the pulsation-free
start of the burner. Further high-quality components allow for the
reliable and low-emission operation of HL60 throughout a long ser-
vice life. The almost hermetically sealed burner housing prevents
odours from the combustion chamber getting into the installation
room Due to the new construction of the air inlet, different intake
adapters are available for the combustion air. In addition, a speci-
ally adapted intake silencer is offered for operation dependent on
ambient air as well as for operation independent of ambient air. In
combination with the cover hood with sound-absorbing lining, the
operating noises of the HL60 reach an unprecedented low level.
The excellent accessibility to all components as well as the practi-
cal service position for the replacement of the nozzle with an
upward oriented nozzle block sets new standards with regard to
ease of maintenance. Moreover, all components are designed for
easy and practical assembly and disassembly. Due to the plug-in
ability of all electrical connections as well as the use of a standar-
dised hexagon key for all screw connections, quick replacement of
each component is made possible.
With Herrmann burners, heating with oil has both a tradition
and a future.
Oil as a fuel will play a decisive role for future heating modernisati-
on. In particular, new fuel oil qualities such as low sulphur fuel oil
EL, or the growing admixture of liquid bio components provide a
high potential for the future. Our HL 60 A/B/E/F yellow flame bur-
ners are well prepared for this because no modernisation of burner
components is required up to an admixture of 10% (DIN 51603-6
EL-A Bio 10).
At the final inspection, each burner will be tested under operational
conditions. The guarantee period is 2 years from the date of pur-
chase (date of invoice). Please note that a specialised company
must carry out installation, commissioning and maintenance.
These installation and maintenance instructions contain important
information with respect to this. In order to ensure the energy-
saving and low-pollution operation of the system in the long run,
we recommend an annual inspection of the burner by a specialised
company.
