Optional Modules

Digital Voice Module (DVM)

The Digital Voice Module is a 72-pin SIMM that plugs into the top of the
TVM/EVM or DVEM. One DVM is required for each voice channel.

Digital Voice Expansion Module (DVEM)

The Digital Voice Expansion Module is used when more than six voice channels
are required. Up to two DVEMs can be installed in a chassis, each holding up
to 12 DVMs.

Notes: •
In order to use a DVEM, a TVM or EVM must also be
installed in the chassis. A TVM or EVM with two DVEMs
fully populated with DVMs provides 30 voice channels.
If you are using a DVEM, ensure that you purchase and
use the power harness (MICOM Oder Code PC-DC/
DVEM or Nortel PEC Code NTAU32AA).
