8.3. Cleaning
• To be carried out by an installation company
• To be carried out by the operator
Do not use any cleansers that contain solvents and/or
alcohol for cleaning, because this can cause damage
to the components - water damage could result.
Detergents must not be allowed to enter the environ-
ment or the sewerage system!

9. Disposal
• Ductile iron housing, powder coated with polyamide
• Stainless steel check valves (DN65-200)
• EPDM diaphragm
• EPDM sealing washers
• CW626N with stainless steel discharge valve
• Polyethylene pressure control line with stainless steel
braid
• Brass ball valves
Observe the local requirements regarding correct waste
recycling/disposal!
Remedy
backflow preventer
Install a pressure reducing valve upstream the
backflow preventer
Remove check valve or discharge valve and
clean it
Replace check valve
Remove discharge valve, clean or replace it
Remove discharge valve and replace 'o'ring
Remove discharge valve, clean or replace it
Remove control pipe and clean it
