Careless opening of the packaging with a sharp knife or other sharp object may damage the device. − Open the packaging carefully. 1. Remove all parts of the device and the operating instructions from the carton and remove the protective foils and inserted cardboard pieces.
- Page 9 Assembly / Operation Setting up the device Place the device on an easily accessible, level, dry, heat-resistant and suffi cient- ly stable work surface. The rubber feet underneath the device ensure a secure hold. Maintain a minimum distance of 11.8 in from the rear wall of the device to other objects and at least 3.9 in from the sides.
- Page 10 Operation The housing and device parts become very hot dur- ing operation. Use oven mitts when inserting or re- moving the insert. To ensure that the food is cooked evenly, you should redistribute / turn the food after half the cooking time by removing the insert, carefully shaking the food and reinserting the insert back into the device.
