User’s Guide 5. About Your MX2106AV The MX2106AV switches automatically upon signal detection, but may also be controlled manually if desired. The MX2106AV is designed to switch computer video signals and stereo audio. The unit is encased in a solid metal enclosure and ships with an external, 9V 1.1 A power adapter.

User’s Guide 7. Operation 7.5 Mode/Switching Summary The MX2106AV will operate successfully as long as cables are attached Following is a summary of the input select and output modes. In auto properly and other specifications are followed. The MX2106AV functions switching, the input selected is dependent on the input signals.
The video signal is bad. Solution 1: Remove the input signals from the switcher. If the In 1 LED is off, call ALTINEX at (714) 990-2300. If the In 1 LED is on, see Solution 2. Solution 2: Connect a properly formatted VGA-type signal to Input 2. If the switcher does not switch to Input 2, see Solution 3.
