Warm air hair curler
Dear Customer,
Before using the appliance, the user should
read the following instructions carefully.
Connection to the mains supply
Make sure that the supply voltage
corresponds with the voltage marked on the
rating label. This product complies with all
binding CE labelling directives.
Important safety instructions
Caution! Do not use the appliance in the
vicinity of a bath, shower or swimming-
pool, over a washbasin filled with water
or any other receptacle containing water.
Near water, there is also a risk even when
the appliance is switched off. Therefore,
always remove the plug from the wall
socket after use, if the appliance is being
used in a bathroom.
Additional protection is offered by fitting
an earth-leakage circuit-breaker with a
rated tripping current not exceeding
30mA into your bathroom installation.
Please consult a qualified electrician.
Take care that the hair curler does not
become wet (e.g. with spray), and do not
use the appliance if your hands are damp
or wet.
Do not leave the appliance unattended
while in use.
This appliance is not intended for use by
any person (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lacking experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the
use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
Always remove the plug from the wall
socket after use, and also in case of any
malfunction.
Electric heating appliances operate at
very high temperatures. Do not touch
any part of the appliance except the grip.
Burns can occur from touching the hot
parts.
Make sure the hot attachment parts are
kept away from the scalp.
Make sure the air intake and outlet
openings are not blocked by fingers or
hair, and that no lint particles are allowed
to accumulate in the air intake.
Should the air intake still become
blocked during operation, a built-in
overheating protective device will
automatically switch off the curler and re-
start it after a cooling down period of
several minutes.
Do not use the curler on synthetic hair-
pieces or wigs. The heat emitted might
cause damage to the synthetic fibres.
Do not operate the curler
- if the unit or the power cord show any
signs of damage,
- if the unit has been dropped on a hard
surface
- if the curler is stored using the hanging
loop provided.
Do not coil the power cord round the
appliance.
Do not place the curler on any surfaces
sensitive to heat during or immediately
after use.
No responsibility is accepted if damage
results from improper use, or if these
instructions are not complied with.
This curler is intended for domestic use
only and not for commercial applications.
In order to comply with safety
regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs
of electrical appliances must be carried
out by qualified personnel, including the
replacement of the power cord. If repairs
are needed, please send the appliance to
