Note:
We offer a repair service in the unfortunate event you damage the mesh. We can stitch vinyl inserts
over the damaged area returning the mesh to its' original condition. Please email us first with a picture
so that we can assess the work required and provide a quote.
We recommend you have the bar with the canvas
flaps sitting above the bottom edge of the bumper
bar to prevent stones from hitting the bar.
With some drop down hitches you may find the
bar is lower than the bumper.
If you find the bar is lower than the bottom edge
of the bumper we have an extension plate kit to
raise the bar (refer picture 1) for an extra $25.
Alternatively, you can give the bar a slight bend
up on each end in a vice (refer picture 2).
A good idea when you have stopped for a short
break and disconnect a couple of clips on the
mesh to access the back of the car, is to clip the
mesh up somewhere on the A-frame. This will
save you damaging the clips if you happen to
forget to re-connect and drive off.
The bar can also be given a slight bend towards
the bumper to close up the gap between the bar
and bumper. (refer picture 3).
