Step 2:
Locate the two long brackets with holes (as shown in the photo below).
Attach the two brackets to the mesh using the D shackles. G clamp the
two brackets to the cross beam. This enables you to adjust the tension
on the mesh before fixing. The mesh does not need to be too tight, just
touching the A frame is fine.
Do not attempt to work under the trailer/van unless it is securely
attached to the vehicle with axle stands under the A-frame.
Your fixing point can be anywhere you can get a secure hold with the
brackets ie. cross beam, underside of van, chassis mounts.
Step 3:
Once satisfied with the positioning of the brackets, check there are no
power cables, gas lines or water pipes behind your chosen fixing point. If
clear, attach the hex driver supplied in the kit, to your drill. Using the self
tapping screws supplied, secure the brackets to your chosen fixing
points. There is no need to pre-drill holes for the tech screws as they are
self tapping.
Once attached, the bungee running between the brackets can be
pulled and adjusted for any slack.
