Page 9 OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE STARTING Pull the old motor up and off of the motor bracket. Make a note of the orientation of the conduit box on the motor. If a suction line isolation valve has been installed, check to be sure that it is completely opened. Thoroughly clean the surfaces of the mounting flanges on the new motor and the pump end.
