NO STRESS REVOLUTION CONTROL DEVI-

The NO STRESS revolution control device stops
the feed unit when it detects a low cutting disk
speed. This function brings about several bene-
fits:
Consistent chips are produced
Unnecessary motor stops are avoided
A motor with lower performance can be
used
The output is increased
The CH27 chipper is equipped with NO STRESS
revolution control device. This device monitors
the cutting disk speed of the chipper and inter-
rupts the material feed if the cutting disk speed
drops under a preset value.
As soon as the cutting disk speed has regained
the preset value, the feed rollers continue to
feed the wood. The feed speed is thus adapted
to the cutting disk speed. Consistent chips are
achieved and the operator can focus on mate-
rial loading.

INSTALLATION OF THE NO STRESS SENSOR

1. Turn off the tractor and uncouple the
universal shaft. Open the upper housing.
2. Install the No Stress sensor in the 20 mm
hole found in the lower housing. The black
sensor tip must be approx. 2 mm from the
tab on the knife disk. There are two tabs on
the knife disk. When the sensor spacing is
correct, tighten the sensor fastening nuts.
Do not tighten too much! Tightening tor-
que is 0,4 Nm.
3. Connect the chipper's electrical cables to
the tractor. The sensor LED will come on
when the sensor spacing is correct. If the
LED does not come on, move the sensor
closer to the tab.
