VACUUM CLEANER ASSEMBLY 1. Remove the screws from the packet attached to the handle. Lock the top section of the handle into place on the main metal section 2. Lower the handle into the main body of the vacuum cleaner 3. -

USING YOUR VACUUM CLEANER 1. Release the power cord and plug into the main socket. 2. Rest your foot on the vacuum hood and pull the main handle back towards yourself to recline the vacuum. 3. Select the appropriate height adjustment setting for the type of flooring. - Page 7 USING THE ACCESSORIES IMPORTANT when using the accessories, the vacuum must be kept in the upright parked position, particularly when vacuuming stairs. CLEANER CARE REMOVING & EMPTYING THE DUST CONTAINER IMPORTANT do not fill the container above the MAX level mark shown on the dust container. 1. To remove the dust container from the vacuum, press the dust container release button on the top of the container. 2. - Page 9 MAINTAINANCE OF THE DUST CONTAINER & FILTERS 1. Remove the dust container as shown on page 7 Hold the dust container lid and with the other hand rotate the container in an anti-clockwise direction to the unlock position. 2. Hold the container lid and rotate the dust separator in an anti-clockwise direction to the unlock position.
- Page 10 CHANGING THE BELT OR BRUSHBAR IMPORTANT ensure the vacuum cleaner is switched off and unplugged before changing the belt or brushbar. IMPORTANT if the pick-up on the vacuum cleaner decreases or the brushbar stops rotating, the belt or brushbar may need replacing. To do so please follow the steps below: Remove base plate, turn the machine over and locate the four screws highlighted.

Troubleshooting The vacuum is hard to push Solution: If you find the cleaner difficult to push on your particular carpet, you can remove the “wiper blades” from the underside of the vacuum.
