PRECAUTIONS
Read this document carefully and store it in a place where you can
easily find it.
To avoid all risk of fire, take the following precautions:
• Make sure that your electrical installation complies with local
standards.
• Only use the Power Cable provided by SoftBank Robotics.
• Do not use the Battery Charger and/or the Power Cable if damaged
or excessively worn.
• Clean the Battery Charger with a soft dry cloth only. Do not use
detergents, aerosols or any other household products.
• Do not use the Battery Charger if temperature is higher than +35°C.
• Use this Charger only with the Battery provided with Pepper. The use
of any other kind of batteries can cause explosion.
• Do not dispose with household waste.
• In order to protect the environment, contact your nearest waste
processing center.
For further information about using Pepper and the Charger, please
refer to the Pepper Pocket Guide that came with the robot.
CAUTIONS
This Battery Charger is designed for use with Pepper only.
• The Battery Charger is not waterproof. Keep it dry at all time. Do not use
with wet hands.
• Do not use the Battery Charger where humidity is saturated or if
exposed to rain or any other liquid.
• Do not try to open or repair the Battery Charger. It may cause electric
shocks and/or permanent damage to your electrical installation.
Unplug the Battery Charger and contact SoftBank Robotics Customer
Support in the following cases:
• If the Power Cable and/or the Battery Charger is damaged/worn.
• If the Battery Charger is damaged due to an impact.
• If there is smoke, sparks, noise or a smell coming from the Battery
Charger.
