OUTDOOR APPLICATIONS

Units can be installed in outdoor locations by ordering the following options:

Procedure:
•
Attach Outdoor Air Intake Hood to air intake collar located on end of burner box with three (3) screws.
Apply silicone adhesive to seal joint.

Attach vent cap to exhaust end of heater with two (3) screws.
•
Electrical connections for outdoor locations must be made in accordance with CSA 022.1 CANADIAN
ELECTRICAL CODE PART 1 as well as/or local codes, conditions and authorities. In the USA, refer to
NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE ANSI/NFPA 70 1987 or most current edition.
Gas connection is to be via an approved stainless steel gas flex. Refer to CAN/CGA B149-M86.1 and .2
INSTALLATION CODES and/or local codes, conditions, and authorities. In the USA, refer to ANSI/NFPA
54 NATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE or current edition.
