HOME CHANNEL / SOFTWARE UPGRADE
● Under the INSTALLATION menu, select "HOME
CHANNEL" and enter into its sub-menu.
● Execute a home scan by pushing the red button on the
remote control. Only necessary when you just want to
scan the channels of the service provider.
● OTA UPGRADE allows you to upgrade the
information/ software of the receiver via satellite
signal.
● If a green Button appears in this pop-up window, you
can obtain update/ upgrade information and software
via the OTA upgrade function.
Note that a software upgrade will take a considerable
amount of time and should be started preferably when no
TV viewing via the STB is scheduled for the next hour.
I-PLATE (INFORMATION PLATE)
● When you are watching channels ( no menu's
displayed) and want to have information about the
current and next program and other relevant
information, you can press "INFO" button.
● After pressing INFO button, the I-PLATE will pop up
including information as follows,
-
Current Channel Number
-
Audio format (Dolby or MPEG)
-
Video format (SD or HD)
-
Now and Next program information
-
Current Local Time
-
Date and Month
-
Signal strength and Signal Quality
TV/RADIO MODE
● When you press the TV/Radio button on the remote
control, you can switch between the TV channel list
and the Radio channel list to enjoy the available Radio
channels in digital quality.
