Adapter Board LEDs

LEDs on the Onyx bulkhead indicate various board state and activity.
• LEDs labeled "1" and "2" indicate Ethernet lane activity.
• The LED labeled 'F' indicates the firmware state.
• The LED labeled 'H' indicates hardware and management state.

4-3-1 Firmware State LED

The following table describes the meaning of the "F" or FW State LED. Please note that solid fields in this
table define a solid (non-blinking) LED state.

*Blink rate is once per second
NOTE!
• A sustained solid Amber indicates that the adapter must be shipped back to the factory (also known as a
"bricked" state.)
• This includes Power-On SelfTest ("POST") failure.
• FW change to blinking Amber if Attention Required ("AR)". Example causes:
• Booted to Golden RTL
