Introduction

This chapter describes the evaluation and use of the Western Digital Networks NVMe-oFTM bridge adapter
board codenamed Onyx, which contains the ASIC device codename Fuji.

Western Digital NIC Configuration
Industry-standard Ethernet cage, designed to accept both copper and
optical cables.
Western Digital Networks' "Fuji" NVMe-oF Bridge ASIC.
This SPI flash device contains the firmware (FW) that Fuji requires to
run.
The EEPROM on the Onyx board contains many board- and model-
specific data, plus configuration parameters.
System and I/O clock inputs to Fuji.
This microUSB port enables users to monitor Fuji's console port.
Onyx has 4 LEDs which enable the user to easy detect the general state
of Fuji.
The upper right side of Onyx contains two "edge finger" connectors.
There are for internal Western Digital testing only. No user-accessible
information is present on these connectors.
