SLCC
SLCC can receive test alarms, failure alarms and battery alarms as
well as emergency calls. To this end, one serial port must remain
free (i.e. must not be used). If no serial ports are available on your
computer, we can supply a USB to serial adapter.

The GSM modem is used to receive and transmit SMS alarms from
and to cellular phones or GSM-based alarm systems. It furthermore
can receive test alarms and caller ID. For this configuration, 2 serial
ports are required.
