Sending an SMS
Telephone numbers always
should be preceded by the
international prefix, e.g.
+4470123456.
In the menu, choose [Options] and then [Send SMS].
If a GSM modem is installed, SMS messages can be directly sent
from SLCC to a GSM.
If the option "Send SMS" is greyed out, the GSM is not properly
functioning or there is no communication with SLCC. In this case,
you must check that:
• The "GSM enabled" box is checked
• The proper communication (COM) port is selected
• The correct PIN code is entered (check by placing the SIM
card in a cellular phone)
Test SMS
Send a test SMS to a GSM to check the SMS function.
The message text below can be anything.
