Check the status bar
Check that the status bar displays the correct information:

Mail: should read "Idle".

GSM: should read "Com OK Net xx%" (where xx should be
10-100).If a GSM modem is connected and enabled in settings
tab communication.

TEL: should read "Line OK Com OK".
Sending a test e-mail
Send a test mail to check the mail function. Refer to "Step 5 - E-mail
settings" in the "Software installation" chapter for more information.
Sending a test SMS
Send a test SMS to check the SMS function. Refer to the "Sending
an SMS" chapter for more information. If a GSM modem is
connected and enabled in settings tab communication.
