Things that are bad for SLAM
● Moving environment
Slam tracks your motion through the environment, if a majority

of the environment is not static it could get confused
● Too much change too fast
Pause a second when transitioning through doorways or around

corners
● Fast rotation on multiple axis
Even though our SLAM tracks within 6 DOF, in difficult
○
environments try to limit motion to a single axis at a time.

Eg: Don't tilt the device forward while also rotating 180 degrees
