ELFC-KF About this document For all available product documentation è www.festo.com/pk. The ELFC-KF guide axis is designated the “product” or “axis” in these operating instructions. Read the operating instructions carefully before starting all work on the product. Safety Safety instructions ...
Product overview Function The slide of the ELFC-KF guide axis supports a load so that it can move. Owing to the coupling with a drive axis (e.g. ELGC-TB-KF), the slide 4 moves forwards and backwards. The slide is ball-bearing guided. The reference position of the carriage can be determined with the help of proximity switches (è...
Take the required support clearances into consideration è 14 Characteristic curves. If the ELFC-KF guide axis is used in conjunction with a drive axis, e.g. ELGC-TB-KF: Use mounting surfaces with identical evenness for both axes. Use the same support spacing on the drive axis and on the guide axis. The guide axis is aligned by moving the slide to the mounting points.
For attachment components with their own guide: Adjust the guide and axis so that they are exactly parallel, or use Fig. 7 a connection that permits tolerance compensation. In this way, the guide is not overloaded. Festo – ELFC-KF – 2017-02 English...
Use proximity sensors with sensor bracket (A) in the slot 7 è assembly instructions for the accessory. Fig. 8 Avoidance of contamination Connect sealing air. To do this, remove the cover 1 on the hous ing and connect compressed air/vacuum. Fig. 9 Festo – ELFC-KF – 2017-02 English...
