Connecting and using PNOscan III with computer software

You will need a "USB A Male to 5-Pin MINI B Male" cable to connect the PNOscan III to your computer.

Your computer will supply power to PNOscan III and should recognize PNOscan III as a USB device.
The PWR button will illuminate to indicate that the system is ON.
The Function button will blink when a key is pressed.
The PNOscan III is a MIDI Output device (it will not generate sounds on its own).
Open your music software and select the "USB Audio Device" as you "Input Driver".
You are now ready to record from the acoustic piano to your computer's music software.
