Tuning to radio stations

Press TUNER (TUNER/BAND on the
system) once or more to select your waveband
(FM or AM).

Press and hold SEARCH 1 or ¡
(S T on the remote) until the frequency
on the display starts running.
The radio automatically tunes to a station of
sufficient reception.
For FM, STEREO is displayed when
receiving stereo broadcast.

Repeat step 2 if necessary until you find the
desired station.
To tune to a weak station, briefly press
SEARCH 1 or ¡ on the front panel of
the system and repeatedly until you have found
optimal reception.

Radio Reception

Programming radio stations

You can store up to 30 radio stations (FM: 20;
AM: 10) in the memory.

Tune to your desired station (refer to "Tuning to
radio stations").

Press PROGRAM to activate programming.
PROG flashes on the display.

Press PRESETí/ë(S T on the
remote) to allocate a number (FM: 1 to 20; AM:
1 to 10) for this station.

Press PROGRAM again to confirm the setting.
PROG disappears. The preset number and
the frequency of the preset station are shown.

Repeat the above four steps to store other
stations.
You can override a preset station by storing
another frequency in its place.

Listening to preset radio stations

Press PRESETí/ë(S T on the
remote) until the desired preset station is
displayed.
In the FM band, you may press
STEREO/MONO to turn on/off stereo sound
if available.
STEREO is displayed when activated.
