    Chapter 6 Software Utilities This chapter illustrates the detail information of driver installation procedures. The utility disk that came with the delivery package contains an auto-run program that invokes the installation programs for the drives. The following sections describe the installation procedures of the driver based on WINXP operating systems.
  • Page 54 Immediately after clicking the CHIPSET button in Step 1, the program launches the Setup that will assist you in the installation process. Click on the Next > button to proceed. The License Agreement dialog box then appears on the screen. Choose Yes to proceed.
  • Page 55 When the Readme Information dialog box pops up, just click on the Next > button to proceed. Once the Install Shield Wizard finishes updating your system, it will prompt you to restart the computer. Tick on the Yes, I want to restart my computer now followed by a click on the Finish button to reboot.

    VGA Driver Installation Insert the CD that comes with the board into the CD-ROM drive. Click VGA to install video driver. When the dialog box below appears, make sure you close all other Windows applications then click on the Next > button to proceed.

    LAN Driver Installation Insert the CD that comes with the board into the CD-ROM drive. Click LAN to install LAN driver. When the dialog box below appears, make sure you close all other Windows applications then click on the Next> button to proceed.

    Touch Screen Driver Installation 6.5.1 Installing Touch Screen Driver Insert the utility CD disk to your CD-ROM drive. The main menu will pop up as shown below The screen displays copying “Setup Wizard” and “PenMount Utilities Installation” screen plus “welcome” message appear, click on Next>.

Once the Install Shield Wizard finishes updating your system, click on Finish to exit the wizard. We recommend you to reboot your computer to enable the functions.
