#5 SYMPTOM: Dispenser "Jerk" Starts.
CAUSE
The lower arm is traveling up too high before
the brake is released.
#6 SYMPTOM: Dancer arm swings upward with little or no resistance.
CAUSE
Check for broken or worn lower arm
extension spring.
REMEDY
The lower hex nut(s) and/or the distance
from one hex nut to the other is too
excessive.
Adjust the brake spring to release the brake
sooner. See brake adjustment procedure.
REMEDY
Replace parts as needed.
