Unpacking and handling

- Prior to and during unpacking, a visual check should be
made to determine if there has been any damage during
transportation.
- Please note all loose parts, dents, scratches or visible loss
of oil.
- During handling, grip the unit only on the lower part.
- Do not pick up the unit on the evaporation unit!
- Before the packing material is disposed of, check to
ensure that no loose parts are enclosed.
- To properly process claims with regard to the guarantee,
we request exact details of the damage (pictures) as well
as the type designation and serial number of the
machine.
- To protect the unit from damage, it may only be
transported and stored in the position of use. Ensure that
condenser and evaporator are not damaged. Otherwise
the guarantee can be invalidated.
2.7

Energy Savings

Do not install the unit near heat sources; high
temperatures in the surroundings will cause the unit to
operate more often.
Direct sunlight will also increase energy use.
Avoid non-essential opening and closing of doors.
Monitor temperature of storage. Clean the refrigeration
unit regularly. A clean unit saves energy and has a longer
life.
Observe proper intervals between cleanings (See Section
„Cleaning and maintenance of Refrigeration Units").
Regular maintenance increases unit life.
