Entering parameters
If during operation the two buttons [ ] and [ ] are
activated simultaneously, the parameter function is
activated.
In this function, the temperature settings and defrosting
times can be entered or changed. The type of operation
for the evaporator fan for high or low humidity in the
coldroom can be set.
On the display, the designation of the selected parameter
will appear, and at the same time the yellow LED will light
up on the button „Stop-Start-Enter", and the Stop-Start
function is switched off.
Using this button, the display can be switched between
parameter designation and the value of the respective
parameter.
Using the button [ ] or [ ] the parameter address can be
changed, or the value of the parameter can be entered
within the given limits.
The parameters are protected from unauthorized changes
by means of a password.
To have access to the parameters available to the
operator, the value 05 must be entered in Parameter P01.
While operating press both buttons[ ] and [ ] at the
same time,
- the display shows up P01, concurrently the yellow LED is
blinking in the button „Stop-Start-Enter".
Press button „Stop-Start-Enter"
- the display shows up 1.
- Select value 5 via the buttons [ ] resp. [ ]
Press button „Stop-Start-Enter"
- the display shows up P01 again.
Now the favoured parametres P02 – P09 resp. P02 – P23
(see 7.2.6 ) can be selected via the buttons [ ] and [ ].
Parameter entry is ended after 10 seconds if no button is
pressed. It will also be ended if the value 0 is entered in
P01.

7.2.1 Entering temperature setting

After entering the password, select Parameter P02 (Display
will read SL.t), press Enter button and current temperature
setting will be shown in °C. The setting can be changed
using [ ] or the [ ] button within the range previously
determined for the respective refrigeration unit type
(-5°C to +20°C; -25°C to -5°C for deep freezers)

7.2.2 Entering defrosting times

Defrosting according to set cycle times
- entering the interval between cycles
After entering the password, select parameter P03 (Display
will read „Ab.h"), press Enter button, and the current
setting for defrosting interval will be shown in hours. It
can be changed using the [ ] or the[ ] in the range of
1 to 24 hours.
The interval between defrosting cycles should be reduced
if the humidity in the coldroom is so high that the
evaporator is completely iced up.
Defrosting at set times:
If a DCF signal receiver is connected to the regulator, 12
switching points can be entered in the parameters P12 –
P23, at which the defrosting will start. This requirements a
setting for the P30 parameter, which may only be done
by a specialist.
After entering the password, select parameters P12 – P23
(Display will read „t.01 .. t.12), press Enter button, and the
current setting for starting the defrosting will be shown as
hh.m(x10). You can change the settings using the [ ] or
the [ ] button from 0.00 to 23.5. The numbers before the
decimal point show the hours, the number after the
decimal point shows the number of tens of minutes.
Entering the defrosting time:
After entering the password, select parameter P04 (Display
will read „Ab.d"), press Enter button, and the current
setting for defrosting time will be shown. It can be
changed using the [ ] or the [ ] button in the range of 5
to 60 minutes.
Defrosting will automatically cease prior to end of the
defrosting time set if the evaporator exceeds 10°C.
The defrosting time should be extended if the evaporator
is not completely defrosted at the end of the cycle.
